Discover, Create, and Express this Winter Break

While schools are closed and parents are busy at work, young people in Hanoi have a unique opportunity to spend their winter break exploring new passions, building confidence, and making friends. The Creative Arts Winter Camp offers a fun, inspiring environment where students aged 13–18 can develop creative skills in Photography, Art, Creative Writing, and Filmmaking.
Led in English by the expert team at Vietnam in Focus, each course blends hands-on learning with real creative projects, helping students express themselves and improve their communication skills.

  • International and bilingual school students in Hanoi interested in exploring new creative outlets
  • Beginners and intermediate learners — no previous experience required

Camp Structure

Dates: December 26 – January 3 (7 participation days, January 1 off)
Location: Vietnam in Focus HQ, central Hanoi, and River Cafe, Long Bien
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Sessions: Morning (8:30–11:30 AM) | Afternoon (2:00–5:00 PM)

Students can register for one or two courses. Each is designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through practical, engaging projects.

Courses

Photography – Learn to use a camera, frame compelling shots, and tell visual stories through your images.
Art – Explore drawing, painting, and mixed media techniques while developing your own creative voice.
Creative Writing – Experiment with short stories, personal essays and journalism, guided by experienced writers.
Filmmaking – Discover the basics of camera work, storyboarding, and editing to create your own short film.

For full-day participants, lunch can be arranged separately. Parents will receive details before the camp begins.

Safety is our top priority. Classes are small, with close supervision by qualified instructors in a secure, well-equipped venue.
