In your research, you may find local Vietnamese travel agencies or fixers offering a cheaper rate to help organize tours for you, but there is a significant difference in quality worth emphasizing.  

1. We have 8 years of hard-earned experience running photography tours and workshops here, both for groups of beginners and professionals.  We specialize in this. That’s why we are the choice of Nat Geo, the Travel Channel and Discovery. We know the territory better than anyone else, and also have many, many friends in remote parts of the country, especially among the ethnic minority groups like Dzao and H’mong.

2. We work with some photographers now who used to make the mistake of hiring a local photographer guide + travel agency for logistics, but they had many problems on the road that often took a long time to solve due to communication problems.  Working with us, anything that can’t be solved by our guide on the spot, Alex is the person to contact, and he is available at all times. We are a small company, working with a select number of photographers as well as running our own tours. While you and your group are here, you are our priority.

3. We’re a western-run company, and have been organizing high-end tours primarily for western photography enthusiasts for the past 8 years.  We have a perfect understanding of your guests’ expectations in terms of service, accommodation, transport etc. You won’t need to worry about this side of things at all and can focus on the photography workshop and your guests.

4. Before running any tour, we always do a pre-tour research trip (included in the price) to check up to date conditions in the places we’ll be shooting.  Things change quickly in the quite remote areas we like to shoot in, so it’s good to know beforehand about road conditions, new constructions (like dams and hotels) etc so we can make sure the final plan is perfect.
